Indian passport holders need a visa to enter Bali, but getting one is simple. You can apply online for the Indonesia e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) before you fly, or pay for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at the airport counter. The fee is the same either way: IDR 500,000 (about โ‚น3,700) per person. The visa allows a 30-day stay, can be extended once by another 30 days, and is single entry. You also need to pay a separate Bali tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (about โ‚น850). Most travellers choose the e-VOA because it saves time at immigration.

To apply, keep your passport (valid 6+ months), return or onward ticket and hotel booking ready. Apply on the official e-Visa website, pay by card, and download your approval. Then fill in the All Indonesia arrival declaration within 3 days before landing, and pay the Bali levy on the Love Bali portal. Carry printed copies and some cash as backup. Donโ€™t overstay, because the fine is IDR 1,000,000 per day. Rules and fees can change, so check the official Indonesia immigration website before you travel.
